Summer 2008 ... Its here, camp is coming!!!
Summer is coming fast and camp is coming back for its 7th year. This year, we have new consolers along with favorites of the past. OSI has spent the off season coming up with new ways and perfecting our teaching strategies to better serve everyone that comes to surf. New dates are up and prices are the same. If you do not see a week you can make it, please call or email us so we can accommodate your unique surfing needs. Who we are
With over thirty combined years of teaching surfing, the staff of OSI are proud to bring back the Oceanside Surf Institute for Summer 2008. This summer is shaping up to be very hot and what better place to cool off than the beach. Come join us for your seventh season of surfing and fun.

We pride ourselves on teaching all levels of surfing, which includes a person who has never seen the ocean before, to the person that is currently surfing in competitions. The best surf lessons in the world are from people that grew up surfing the area you are learning in!

Our camp site is located in the city of Oceanside, CA. We are at the North Jetty of Oceanside Harbor.

What we provide
The Oceanside Surf Institute is a week long program. We offer one-day "drop-in" packages and personal one-on-one surf lessons. All surfing equipment is provided. You will need to bring is a bathing suit, possibly an old t-shirt (to wear in the water), dry clothes, sunscreen, and a lunch.

We welcome anyone, males and females from the ages of 7 to 99+. Younger ones can come to!

How does it run
A week at the Oceanside Surf Institute runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm
A typical day's itinerary may include:

8:00AM - Arrival
Checking surf conditions with the counselors
Stretching excercises and a discussion going over previous day's lessons
9:00AM - Lessons Begin
11:30AM - Lunch
12:30PM - More lessons until end of day

That's right! We are in the water for most of the day. A camper has the option to be in the water almost the entire day if they wish to do so. So what are you waiting for? Quit surfing the net and start surfing!
